Time to find a new RSS reader

RSS IconMuch to my disappointment, I discovered that Google is going to discontinue Google Reader. This is disappointing because Google Reader is a cornerstone of my personal learning environment. I am now forced to find a suitable replacement.

After a bit of exploration today, I am planning to give Feedly.com a try. It will automatically import my RSS feeds from Google Reader, saving me a ton of work. I am already up and going.

Feedly has applications for my smartphone and iPad as well as a nice extension for Chrome.

With Feedly, I have control of the layout for viewing RSS feeds, which lets me closely replicate what I had on Google Reader. Feedly also provides instructions for migrating Google Reader users.

There are always new things to learn, often in an effort to solve a problem. What RSS reader have you moved to?
